The Stewardship & Community Engagement Committee was developed to establish a process for engaging volunteers in the work of the ERWP to both help achieve project goals, and provide opportunities for local and visiting community members to learn more about and get more involved in management of the watershed.
ERWP’s volunteer programs are in the developmental stage but aim to design events for visiting groups as well as permanent residents. One key aspect of the program will be to train local volunteers and provide them with the tools to collect information and citizen science work on their own.
