Grand Staircase Escalante Partners is a 501(c)3 that acts on behalf of ERWP as their managing non-profit organization.
Grand Staircase Escalante Partners (GSEP) was established in 2004 and is dedicated to raising awareness and resources in support of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument’s conservation, education and science/research programs. GSEP collaborates with Federal and State agencies, universities, and other partner organizations on conservation, education and research projects on public and private lands within the greater landscape region of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument (GSENM).
The major goal is to sustain and promote conservation, education and science on GSENM and across its ecological and jurisdictional boundaries. In 2010 GSEP became a key partner of the Escalante River Watershed Partnership. GSEP is committed to facilitating applied and pure scientific research in the Escalante River Basin and to promoting conservation and education. GSEP acts as a fiscal agent, encourages scientists to conduct research on GSENM, engages volunteers in conservation and stewardship projects, and educates the public about the value and significance of the region’s resources.
